Submission Guidelines
The Chicago Arts District Exhibitions space was initiated to allow visiting artists and curators the opportunity to be a part of the exceptional group of artists and gallerists operating within the Chicago Arts District. This temporary space is made available throughout the year for visiting exhibitors.
Exhibitors in the gallery enjoy many benefits and services made possible by the Chicago Arts District staff, such as:
- Participation in the popular 2nd Fridays Gallery Night Program
As one of the over two-dozen galleries participating on the 2nd Friday of each month, Chicago Arts District Exhibitions exhibitors benefit from a built-in audience of diverse attendees. On average, the event draws several hundred visitors, including art-savvy individuals, leaders of Chicago’s cultural landscape, representatives of the media, and collectors. Not to mention those who just want to enjoy a night full of cutting edge art!
- Press Relations and Marketing through the Chicago Arts District Office
Chicago Arts District Exhibitions exhibitors have the advantage of an established PR team who will assist with the creation and dissemination of all press releases. Chicago Arts District Exhibitions information will also be included in any relevant advertising and marketing produced by the Chicago Arts District, including the E-Bulletin that reaches over 3000 people per month.
- Web Marketing on www.chicagoartsdistrict.org
Chicago Arts District Exhibitions exhibitors, or the artists they represent, will be given an Artists Profile page on the Chicago Arts District website. The site is regularly updated with news and events related to the artists and galleries in the Chicago Arts District, including the Chicago Arts District Exhibitions. The site receives hundreds of visits every day from people all over the world.
